1. Is this suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the controller offers cloud connectivity compatible with Link4 Cloud, enabling remote monitoring and control of your system.
3. Is this compatible with other equipment?
Yes, it supports Modbus communication, so you can easily scale and integrate it with existing equipment standards.
4. Does the controller provide alarms or notifications if a relay, sensor, or power supply fails?

The controller has a built-in safety feature: if a relay, sensor, or even the power supply fails, it will trigger local alarms (like on-screen alerts or indicators). And if the controller is linked to the Link4 Cloud, it can also send you remote notifications (via email/text/app) so you can troubleshoot the issue quickly without being on-site.

5. If the I2C temperature/humidity sensor gets disconnected or fails, will the controller still operate safely?

If the I2C temperature/humidity sensor stops working or gets unplugged, the Pearl controller won’t shut down. Instead, it will keep running based on the last saved settings, so your system stays stable, and at the same time, it can send an alert or notification so you know there’s a sensor issue to fix.

6. How easy is it to upgrade from my older control system to this one?

The Pearl Standalone Controller is built so you don’t need to start from scratch or rewire everything when replacing an old control system. Since it’s modular, you can connect it to your existing setup with only small adjustments, making the upgrade fast, less costly, and less disruptive.
